Tearnee Lewington (Arlinda) is a Wangkangurru/Yarluyandi woman, granddaughter of Joyce Crombie (Anpanuwa), great granddaughter of Arlinda Crombie Birdsville.  She had the pleasure to sit and listen to her great Nan telling stories of the moon and the stars and teaching her the Wangkangurru/Yarluyandi meaning in language.  Tearnee grew up in a small town of Bedourie beside the Georgina River before moving to Dysart with family for work. 

Her passion is painting with Nana Joyce. Tearnee will be wearing Red Ridge the Label Georgina collection featuring artwork by Nana Joyce at the WOW Western Queensland performances in Charleville and Longreach.
