Senior Producer

Jo Pratt has forged a career in the performing arts and media sectors over the past 20 years.  With a passion for developing, supporting and encouraging artists in their creativity and pursuit of sustainable career pathways, Jo has extensive experience working from both a community cultural development framework with Indigenous and migrant artists and communities in south east Queensland and targeted career development methodology. 

This is complemented by strong business and market development experience in a number of roles, including as the Station Manager of Radio 4EB since 2019, CEO/Artistic Director of BEMAC 2009-2016, the General Manager of Vulcana Women’s Circus 2016-2019 and the Senior Producer of Women of the World Festival 2018-2022; developing, resourcing, managing and reporting against complex multi-project budgets; working with Boards of a not-for-profit to ensure compliance and good governance; driving strategic, business and financial sustainability planning.
