A country girl through and through, Ruth Vicary has lived her whole life in small, rural Burnett communities and knows first-hand the value of family, and importance of connecting and volunteering to make small communities tick. Now with husband Andrew at her side, they have raised seven strong independent daughters, whilst running a beef production property, and volunteering makes for a full, productive life. Ruth’s love for family and people has seen her leading the way volunteering in developing many projects and events in her rural area for the benefit of others. Connecting people, sharing knowledge within the agricultural setting, and living a life reflecting the values she believes in, is the essence of her being.
