Katherine is the Co-Artistic Director of Belloo and an award-winning Australian playwright. She is the author of four published plays (Boy, Lost - winner of the 2022 Lord Mayor’s Award for Best Australian New Work, Motherland, Rovers and Hanako) and holds a doctorate in creative writing from the University of Queensland. Katherine was an Artistic Associate at Queensland Theatre Company in 2015 and the chair of Playlab Theatre for five years. She has had her plays performed in Australia and Japan and collaborated with Belgian artist Alexandra Cool on the art book, Parilanjarvi - blanketed and still, published in Europe in March, 2023.
