Bronwyn Dendle

Social Worker, Department of Education

Bronwyn Dendle is a Social Worker with 25 years of front-line experience supporting rural areas in Central Queensland. With her tertiary qualifications in social work, economics and political science, and having always lived rurally, Bronwyn has a strong social justice framework and is passionate about advocating for the needs of rural communities.  She is a co-founder of the Home To Bilo campaign which was a finalist in the 2022 Australian Human Rights Awards.  Bronwyn has volunteered with community groups, clubs and committees for nearly 40 years and has served as a Board Director on several local non-profit organisations.  She currently works as a Mental Health Social Worker for Education Queensland in Biloela where she lives with her husband Matt and 5 children.
