Jodie Diugnan-George

Associate Vice-President of CQ University for the the Cairns and Far North Queensland Region

As head of the campus, Jodie is responsible for the management of the new Cairns CBD campus and is committed to working with community and industry to ensure that CQUniversity positively contributes to the region’s development through the establishment of mutually beneficial relationships and projects that make a difference.

With a background in Social Science and over 20 years of experience working in higher education (from teaching through to commercial and corporate management), Jodie has a broad knowledge of University Management and of issues facing the sector.

Emphasising a strong focus on systems innovation and business development, in addition to being a graduate of AICD,  she is able to make a significant contribution to the numerous local and national boards and committees she serves, including roles as Vice President of the Cairns Chamber of Commerce (since 2015); Vice President of Study Cairns (since 2011); Director on the board of advance Cairns (since 2017); Director of the Board of Engagement Australia (since 2015); and Director of the Board of RDA FNQ&TS
